About Alison Taylor

IMG_2107.JPG

Alison Taylor grew up in the southern parts of Maryland, surrounded by the world of the woods and swamp. They've always felt a deep connection to the nature that surrounds them, and has been inspired to recreate the colors they see in the world. Their interest pushed them towards applying for Ringling College of Art and Design, where their most recent works had originated from.

They try to capture the expressiveness and vibrancy the world has that many might not notice. Having been inspired by both nature and the media they grew up with, Alison strives to combine the two to breathe new life into their art that would connect with people around the world.

While most of their early years were spent developing their skills in traditional or digital illustrations, animation has always been a calling towards them. They spent much of middle school and high school learning 2D animation on Adobe Animate, and now in they've begun taking the dive into 3D digital works. They were educated on interfacing Maya in college, and with that knowledge, they expanded their skills out to Blender.

When not working on art, Alison will often spend their free time playing video games and tabletop games with their friends or sewing together plushies or costumes (but they might also just be napping with their wonderful cats!)
